Learning Human Behavior for Promoting Trustworthy Human-Robot Interaction

I am a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Industrial and Operations Engineering Department at the University of Michigan. I am a part of the Interaction and Collaboration Research Lab (ICRL).

My research focuses on learning human trust dynamics, modeling their behavior based on trust, and designing robot interaction strategies that promote trust in the context of human-robot teams. This research sits at the exciting intersection of human-factors and optimization, the two main facets of Industrial Engineering.
